ThePrivacyMaskList(Video&Audio>PrivacyMask)showsallthemasksthatarecurrentlyconguredintheAxisproductand
indicatesiftheyareenabled.
Youcanaddanewmask,re-sizethemaskwiththemouse,chooseacolorforthemask,andgivethemaskaname.

Eachstreamproleisaseparatevideostream.Toincludetheaudiostreaminallstreamproles,gototheaudiotabineachstream

AudioModes
TheAxisproductsupportsthefollowingaudiomodes:
Fullduplex-Simultaneoustwo-wayaudioallowingtheAxisproducttotransmitandreceiveaudioatthesametime.Thereisno
echocancellation;iffeedbackloopsappear,trymovingthemicrophoneorthespeaker.
Half-duplex-AudiocanbetransmittedtoandfromtheAxisproductbutonlyinonedirectionatatime.Totransmitaudiousingthe
LiveViewpage,usetheTalkandListenbuttons,seeAMCAudioControlsonpage12.
Simplex—NetworkCameraspeakeronly-AudioistransmittedfromaclienttotheAxisproductandcanbeplayedbyaspeaker
connectedtotheproduct.TotransmitaudiousingtheLiveViewpage,theTalkandMicrophonebuttonsmustbothbeactive,
seeAMCAudioControlsonpage12.
Simplex—NetworkCameramicrophoneonly-AudiocapturedbytheproductmicrophoneistransmittedfromtheAxisproductto
oneormoreclients.

SelectMicrophonetouseanexternalmicrophoneorLinetouseaLineindevice,e.g.anaudiomixerformultiplemicrophones
oramicrophonewithabuilt-inamplier,asaudiosource.
Selectthemicrophonesensitivitylevel(High/Low)dependingonthesoundlevelinthemonitoredarea.Forexample,iftheAxis
productisinstalledinanoisyenvironment,trysettingtheinputsensitivitytoLow.
TheMicrophonepoweroptionprovidesDCpowerforanexternalmicrophone.Microphonepowershouldonlybeusedwith
microphonesthathavenobattery.Thissettingshouldnotbeenabledwhenusingadynamicorbatterypoweredmicrophone.
Touseaprofessionalmicrophonerequiring48Vphantompower,youneedanexternalpowersupplyandabalanced-unbalanced
converter(audiotransformer)inbetween.
