AXIS 247S - Unit Connectors

BNC connector - Connect a 75 ohm coaxial video cable (max. length 800 feet (250 meters).
Note: If the video source is to be connected in parallel with other equipment using a BNC T adaptor, disable the input termination by setting
the 75 ohm switch to OFF. Failure to do so may cause reduced image quality.
Mini-DIN - 6 pin Mini-DIN connector for power out, video in and audio in:
Power out 1 12V DC, max. load 5W (420mA)

Audio in 3 Mono microphone or a line-in
Video in 5 Video connection (Not S-video or Y/C video)
GND 2,4,6 Ground on pins 2, 4 and 6.
Important!
• There are two alternative connections available for power out, video in and audio in, providing flexible installation. Do not connect more than
one video/audio source as the AXIS 247S is a one-channel video server and can only accommodate one video/audio stream.
• The AXIS 247S can deliver a maximum of 5W (420mA) to a camera (from power out or Mini-DIN connector) and 50mA from the I/O terminal
connector.
Line/Mic in - 3.5mm input for a mono microphone, or a line-in mono signal (left channel stereo signal).

Power out - Used to power a camera or other auxiliary equipment 12V DC, max. load 5W (420mA)
Note: It is also possible to connect power to the AXIS 247S using an AXIS PS-K power adaptor connected to the Power out terminal
connector. DO NOT connect the PS-K power supply if the AXIS 247S is connected to a PoE switch.
